Recommended Youtube Channels For Growth
We live in an amazing time period. We have more access to the Bible and Bible teachers than most humans throughout history. But in spite of that we read and learn the Bible less than most humans throughout history. Let's break that pattern.
I have compiled a list of Youtube channels that I think can really help you to dive deeper into your walk. Understand more about what the Bible is saying, but also how to apply that to things in our daily lives as well. These are all people that I personally watch/ have watched/ or even know personally, and as a result I vouch for the content they are producing.
Not that I agree with every stance they have, I actually disagree with most of them on at least a couple of things, but I think you can clearly see their heart for helping people grow closer to God. I'll give each channel, with a brief overview of what they do and why they may interest you as well. I'm also going to link their specific channels, social media accounts, and any thing else of relevance.
I'll also add on one final note, these are not listed in any particular order, and these are not the only people you should watch. These are simply a starting point to help you gain some traction. They are split into two tiers and I'll explain each tier below.
Recommended Teachers (Start Here)
The teachers below are especially helpful for building a strong foundation in the Christian faith. Each one is committed to the authority of Scripture, the gospel of Jesus Christ, and historic Christian orthodoxy.
These are voices I trust and would confidently recommend to new believers. If you're just beginning your walk with Christ, start here and take your time.
Basically Biblical (That's Me!)
Nothing wrong with a little shameless self promotion. And I might be a little bit biased here, but I can say with confidence that Basically Biblical is the best Christian podcast recorded in my house.
Basically Biblical is all about discipleship. My goal is to help you deepen your faith by studying Scripture, answering questions, and growing in your relationship with Jesus, day by day. Whether you’re new to following Christ or wanting to go further, I try to bring clarity, encouragement, and practical steps rooted in the Bible.
Mike Winger - Bible Thinker
Mike Winger teaches with a strong emphasis on thinking carefully about Scripture and Christian doctrine. His content includes verse-by-verse Bible studies, helpful apologetics (answers to questions about faith, doubts, culture), and lectures on how to understand difficult passages.
Great for someone who wants more depth but still wants things explained clearly.
Trinity Radio
Trinity Radio brings theology, worldview issues, and Christian philosophy into conversation with current culture. They do debates, interviews, and discussions, often with pastors, scholars, and other Christian voices.
If you’re curious about why Christians believe what they believe, or want apologetic content that engages well with society and ideas, this is solid.
Remnant Radio
Remnant Radio aims for a “radical middle” between Word & Spirit: deeply biblical but also aware of spiritual experience and the movement of the Holy Spirit. They host conversations that include different Christian traditions, theological depth, and practical spiritual issues. Their show is thoughtful, sometimes challenging, but not just academic—it’s personal and heart-oriented. .
Truth Unites - Gavin Ortlund
Gavin Ortlund is committed to gospel assurance and theological clarity. His content often explores church history, theology, apologetics, and how to hold unity and truth together in the church. Topics might include differences between Protestant and Orthodox traditions, or how to think well about what Christian doctrine says in confusing times.
Ruslan KD
Ruslan KD brings a cultural commentator’s edge combined with a personal testimony. He came from a difficult background (refugee, early atheism, etc.) and now seeks to address culture, current issues, identity, spiritual warfare, and theology—all in a way that’s accessible and often conversational. He’s good at meeting people where they are and helping them see what the Gospel says into their circumstances.
Teaching Library
The resources below cover a wide range of topics, from Bible study and theology to apologetics, church history, and Christian living.
Not every teacher approaches every issue the same way, but each one is included because of their commitment to biblical Christianity. Always test everything against Scripture (Acts 17:11), and grow at a pace that's healthy for you.
