Get Plugged Into A Local Church

The Christian life isn’t meant to be lived alone.
We’re part of a body—a family—and we grow by doing life together.

That means being part of a local church where the Bible is taught, Jesus is central, and people are growing in faith.

To help you find a solid church near you, I want to introduce a tool that makes the search easier.

Just type in your zip code or city, and this tool will show churches that are gospel-centered and biblically grounded.

When you find one, show up—even if it’s awkward or new.
God grows us in community, not isolation. You need other believers, and they need you too.

No church on here close to me!?

Fear not! If there is no church on these lists that are close to you that doesn't mean you are hopeless.  Another option that could help is to google for local churches in your area. On their website they will usually have a "Statement of Faith" or something like that.  You can copy that, paste it into something like Grok or Chat GPT, and say something to the effect of "This is a statement of faith from the website of a church near me. Does this reflect Orthodox Christian beliefs or are there any red flags here".

This may not be a perfect option, but it could help weed out some bad ones.
